Arium Projects offers complete structural detailing services to the construction industry – be it fabricators, engineers, architects, quantity surveyors and contractors. Backed by years of experience in the commercial, industrial and mining sector, we aim to offer you high quality, easy-to-follow drawings with all information required to carry out a structural project effectively – using highly efficient, up-to-date software to achieve this.Our business ethic is based on honesty, efficiency, effective communication and productivity.Arium Projects is a division of Arium Group (Pty) Ltd, a B-BBEE Level 1 contributor.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
A sketch or impression may help visualize, but a 3D model is often the best way to visualize a structure in its entirety and accuracy. Using modern 3D CAD software, we can produce a 3D model based on design drawings to finalize the overall design – which would include inspecting structural connections and clash-checking. This ensures that, once detailed, fabrication can proceed quickly and site installation carried out efficiently.
Modernized steel detailing
We aim for a high standard of clarity and accuracy in our 2D drawings – from a complex general arrangement right through to a simple single part drawing. Our drawings contain enough information regarding connections, materials, quantities and weights. Handrail schedules and grating layouts are also offered. Simply put – we leave no bolt untightened!
Fabrication Coordination
Our export process makes it easier for fabricators to procure, cut, weld and assemble the steel – as well as provide the final finish specification before site erection. We extract NC data for processing, material procurement, and final assembly bill, material and bolts lists in Excel and PDF formats – to make working with the data more user-friendly. We provide information for material and drawing management software, such as FabTrol.
